Dobee Snowber |
|
Snowber creates her monoprints at a collaborative workshop at Studio 1509, Berkeley. A graduate of a New England art school and a mother of two, this Berkeley resident creates haunting abstract images inspired by rows of chairs. Her unique artistic process involves the delib-erate use of a random palette of leftover or rejected inks and simultaneous printing of several plates. Images of Snowber at work can be seen on her 2002 web page (below). Snowber's art has appeared in group shows in Berkeley, Richmond, and San Francisco, and is sold in galleries in Arizona and South Carolina. |
